Support contact form: name, email address, and the message content you submit.

Website usage (GA4 + cookies): depending on your cookie choice, Google Analytics 4 may process online identifiers (e.g., cookie identifiers), device/browser information, pages viewed, approximate location (derived from IP), and interaction events.

4. Purposes and legal bases

Support requests: We process contact form data to respond to and handle your support inquiry.
Legal basis: legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (handling inbound support requests and maintaining necessary communication related to the request).

Analytics (GA4): We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage and improve the website.
Legal basis: your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR for analytics cookies and analytics tracking.

We do not use contact form submissions for marketing emails or newsletters.

5. Is providing data required?

Providing contact form data is voluntary, but if you do not provide at least an email address and message, we may not be able to respond.

Accepting analytics cookies is optional and not required to use the website.

6. Cookies, consent, and GA4 behavior

We use a cookie banner to request consent before setting analytics cookies.

We use the following service providers to operate the website and provide support:

Cloudflare (website delivery, security, and performance).
Proton services (email inbox used to receive and respond to support messages).
Google (Google Analytics 4).

Google provides "Data Processing Terms" for Analytics/Ads products that govern processing when using Google Analytics.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process personal data outside the EU/EEA (including in the United States), depending on service configuration and support/security operations.

Google LLC is listed as certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Cloudflare describes its GDPR approach and provides Standard Contractual Clauses for customers as a transfer safeguard where applicable.

Transfers to Switzerland are covered by the European Commission's adequacy decisions framework.

9. Retention

Support inquiries: retained only as long as necessary to resolve the request; may be kept for documentation up to 12 months unless a longer period is required by law.

GA4: retained according to GA4 "Data retention" settings; GA4 supports retention controls (commonly 2–14 months) and a "Reset on new activity" option that can extend how long user/event data remains available for active users.

10. Your GDPR rights

You have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection (especially for processing based on legitimate interests).

You can also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

11. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling as defined by the GDPR.

12. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data.

13. Changes

We may update this policy by publishing a new version on this page with an updated effective date.
